Test with some games on emulator of nintendo 64 called "project64" the best for this old console.
I made some play with 4 games, Mario kart 64, Waverace 64, Puzzle bobble 64 and Ridge race 64.
All this test was made on microsoft windows 7 beta build 7000 updated and with this system:

eeepc 900a
atom N270
ssd 8gb + sdch 16gb adata class6
950gm
2gb ddr2 ram

  • how did you get this to work on windows 7

  • its very easy, search project64 on google and download it, pj64 run well under a lot of operatin system like win7. U need a rom of game to play.

  • its a standard ddr2 sodimm module, it cost very low, about 20 euro (6 months ago)

  • try to run with a win xp compatibility mode, right mouse button on exe file. If not run try to download another version.

  • mmh a little more performance under win xp but not too much, mario kart run fast like under win 7.

  • did all this with my nb100 so it did snes, megadrive, n64 and other emus and never had a problem

  • How much did the extra gig of RAM cost you?

  • How'd u get project64 emulator To work on Windows 7? i tried everything i knew ;o. it keeps closing and saying "windows is checking for a solution" " a problem caused the program to stop working.."
