From God's Arms to My Arms to Yours

So many wrong decisions in my past,
I'm not quite sure if I could ever hope to trust my judgment anymore.
But lately I've been thinking, because it's all I've had to do.
And in my heart I feel that I should give this child to you.

And maybe you can tell your baby when you love him so
that he's been loved before
by someone who delivered your son
from God's arms to my arms to yours.

And if you choose to tell him and if he wants to know
how the one who gave him life could bear to let him go,
just tell him there was sleepless nights I prayed and paced the floor
and knew the only peace I'd find is if this child was yours.

I know that you don't have to do this, but could you kiss him once for me
the first time that he ties his shoe or falls or skins his knees?
and could you hold him twice as long when he makes his first mistake
and try to tell him that he's not alone? Sometimes that's all it takes.
And he's not alone. I know how much he'll ache.
This may not be the answer for another girl like me
and I'm not on a soap box singing how we all should be.
I'm just trusting in my feelings and I'm trusting God above,
and I'm trusting that you can give this baby both his mother's love.

an unborn baby is alive. ther have been no arguements about that on either side. "one half of all people that go into an abortion clinic come out alive" Many women may have died having illegal abortions, but all babies die in an abortion. Women know the consequenses of sex. If they want to be 'adult' enough to have sex they need to be adult enough to deal w/consequenses in an adult manner, and that doesn't include murder.

It just comes down to it being legal to kill one's own children. Should we make it legal for a parent to kill their child up to a yr old if they decided they didn't want them. Again, murder is murder NO MATTER WHAT!!! And personally, If I were to go out w/the intent on killing someone, and I succeed, and I die in the process, I deserved it. Soulds cruel, but it's how I feel!

Just because ALL adoptive families aren't what you would call perfect, doesn't mean that pregnant women should kill their own chilren so they don't get that chance. 99% of adoptive families are great loving homes. Would you suggest killing the children who don't have an adoptive family, or not the "perfect family"? Murder is Murder no matter what stage of life!

I am so sorry for you. It seems to be that our society is so care less and so selfish and irresponsible that we can make a decision to cause the creation of a child, but then because of our own selfishness we can kill the innocent baby that we created. It is heart wrenching to think of the calousness of it. It's not all about pro lifers, it's about having some integrity and doing what is right and taking responsibility for your actions

How dose adoption solve the fact that u dont want any part of u, any child to be born, adoption is made out to be something graet , it isnt allways lke that , not every 1 that gets given a way ends up in a nice lovely home with a nice family, y eles would there be childrens homes ? so all u pro lifers are once agine comeing up with a stupid soulution to abortion, get over it, there is no soulution, it will nevr be leagalized woman died to make it leagal

aside from my old comment i have a new stance on the pro life view

i'm no longer against them

i am however against the anti freedom movement which is the same organization

pro choice = pro death (death must happen)

pro life = anti freedom

even if you dont agree i'm still right

because taking even one choice is still taking freedom
