  • OMG RETARDS THAT ISNT SPERM WHALE IT IS BULUGA WHALE SPERM WHALES ARE LIKE FREAKING x30 THAT SIZE OF THAT WHALE BULGUAS WEIGHT 6 TON APPROX AND SPERM WHALES ARE 30-45 TONS

  • The polar bears almost finished the whale. They were already feeding for more than a week. In the water there were big bones. I think too big for a beluga. All the guides, one of them a well known expert, told us it was a sperm whale. For me it makes no difference. It was unique to be there and enjoy the spectacle for many hours from a very short distance.

  • what kind of whale was that?

  • It was a sperm whale

  • Great footage but this is way too close for tourists, the animals may not seem terribly bothered but it's an unnecessary stress. Notice how often they are looking up at the camera? People need to be more respectful of these animals.

  • These animals will not be extinct, even if the summer Arctic ice will melt again for the second time in 800 yrs., which is just a natural cyclic phenomenon. Like all bears they are very smart and highly adaptable and skilled survival artists.

  • @Gaiden47 Retard bEluga whales are 1-2 tons not 6, get your info right before you start screaming off something foolish. Check this out the wikipedia for Beluga whale

  • @Gaiden47 which would mean your sperm whale would weigh 180 tons, bigger than a blue whale!! Congrats on discovering the worlds new largest mammal!!! :-)

  • IS THAT YELLOW STUFF BLUBBER?

  • would bear spray work on polar bears??? I am going to Alaska camping very soon

  • bloody tourists

  • @bananian They're not just strangers, they're also armed with rifles! Have noticed it at the background?

  • @alpha3939 That's what I'm thinking. Clearly the bears were uncomfortable.
