This control line B-17 was flown at the Sept 27 2008 contest by Ed Mason. A real handful. Pulls like a Clydesdale horse.

  • Did this have throttle control ? Is it a Royal Kit ? Thanks for posting. I got to see a 4 engine control line airliner fly once. It was amazing.

  • @MissileMist This plane has to have throttle control or it might pull the pilot off his feet. Not sure of the kit. This flyer has another later B-17 that i have a video posted.

  • For how big it is and how hard it pulls, that thing is a bat outta hell! What size engines do you have on it?

  • This plane has four O S 25 engines that add up to lots power. It also is not light. Not my plane but i wish it was. Built and flown by Ed Mason.

  • its kinda funny how the plane is almost pulling the pilot off the ground.i fly control line too

  • This is pretty heavy plane with lots of power at full throttle. Needs a strong pilot.
