Talking about what you need to do in Australia to get your gender changed with Medicare and the Australian Tax Office

I've started a ChipIn account to help raise funds for my chest surgery. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

  • also and sexual reassignment surgery means hysto here, basically. chest surgery too but the hysto is the biggen. you don't need to have lower surgery here to change yr birth cert.

chest surgery actually is covered by medicare here too. it's listed as a bilateral mastectomy and you get a rebate on it.

  • @FIGHTTOEXHALE Ah awesome, thanks for the info :) I haven't covered birth certificates yet, because I have to go through the British system to get mine changed.
