also and sexual reassignment surgery means hysto here, basically. chest surgery too but the hysto is the biggen. you don't need to have lower surgery here to change yr birth cert.

chest surgery actually is covered by medicare here too. it's listed as a bilateral mastectomy and you get a rebate on it.

you have to go into medicare and then they send the shit away. re: recognition letter, i believe that you can get those from gender centers. the one in sydney can write one i think.
