  • It is frightening to play this with the music in front of you. The meter is wicked and you really have to know it well. I was in an ensemble at Ohio State in the mid 1980s when we performed this.

  • This is by far the best pianist I have heard in this- and it is a select group - Kovasovic, Magaloff, Beroff,among others ( and I have played it myself). What is so great is the fact that this pianist has the control to inject a little freedom lyrically making this a cut above the arid, drily exact readings. She know the work backwards and has an authoritative view.

  • These amazingly precise and gifted pianists. I'd be terrified doing this from memory and here we have someone who completely in control. It is helped, of course, by marvellously controlled and rhythmically scalpel sharp ensemble from all of the winds
