This is from a 1981 production of "Oliver!" in which my son Paul played Oliver and his friend Kag was The Artful Dodge. I love this clip because the two of them got the giggles during the number and had to try to finish the song and the dance and keep singing, even though every time they caught each other's eye, they would have to hold back giggles. I remember sitting in the audience praying for them to just finish the damn song and get off stage!

  • Why all the negative comments??? I think both kids did an excellent job - good energy and great onstage chemistry. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this clip...thank you for posting it...really made me smile :-)

  • to sexyjim, you're not going to get to be an actor if you don't know how to spell when you read your script, since you somehow spelled KNOW wrong, so you can just suck it and shut your mouth you idiot

  • that guy cant act! no offence, i dont mean anything by it... i mean, he CAN act, just not as good as jack (the origional) He's great, just Jack was better. sorry he died (for both) did this guy REALLY die? poor guy. R.I.P to both, then :'(

  • @basykes im so sorry.

  • @harrylaneshow. Yes, he died. He was my son. He was about 12 when he did this role, and 30 when he died.
