Hatch[BOX]

Hatch[BOX] is a workspace for the purpose of reflection and productive retreat. Guided by the Primitive Hut and Thoreau's writing shelter, Hatch[BOX] is an updated version of these structures that allows one to get away from daily distractions and impediments to creative work. Its compact size allows it to be easily transported to any location with the help of a vehicle, requiring little to no site preparation. Interior and exterior skins are attached to its rigid frame system, allowing for individual customization. Its transformative design provides a closed space sheltering one from the elements, and also quickly converts into a space open to the outdoors.
