I remember seeing the exhibit when I was little (I haven't visited the Zoo since I was eleven). Is the exhibit bigger than the yard that the elephants were kept in?

@awesomeH2O I was talking to some of the Zoo staff yesterday and relieved to learn they don't know the exact dimensions of all the exhibit areas either. If I can track down more specific information, I will.
But to answer your question here, this area does appear to be slightly larger. If that is the case, I wonder if the Zoo ever considered switching the elephants to this area.
