I have been tracking this for 5 years, due to increased news reports. When I first started to investigate the usgs would list in easy format historical by decade. I checked the difference from the 90s decade and the decade of 2000 up till 2008 at that time I saw the frequency of earthquakes increase by 10,000 or more than 1000 per year most were insignificant but, more than 60% registered over 4M+. As far as blaming jebus returning; well, I will leave that conclusion alone.I think it's santa
i was trying to find some information in the net about volcanic activity because i been following the news lately and i think that for the last month there has been a volcano eruption everyday around the globe in indonesia, philipinas ,russia, undersea and i just red about a new 1 in columbia i serious believe that there really is something goin on with the planet.
you are wrong. Do YOUR research. I looked up my info on USGS tough guy. clearly you dont research well or dont read well. one or the other. If you go to their site under frequently asked questions, its right there, 6.0 are only slightly on the increase in the last 20 years or so. GO JESUS GO!
@nyshoefly , how can you say that the numbers have stayed relatively constant?
Check your facts pleeeze! quakes 6.0 or greater averaged only 5.01 per year from 1960 thru 1999.
Beginning in the year 2000 thru 2009 there have been an average of 31.87 per year. That is a huge increase! I counted all of them for all these years on the USGS site. Do your homework and then share it with others.
As more and more seismographs are installed in the world, more earthquakes can be and have been located. However, the number of large earthquakes (magnitude 6.0 and greater) has stayed relatively constant. See: Are Earthquakes Really on the Increase?
shaking our earth still just isnt enough to some people. I wish people would take heed and wait for our Christs return, rather than attack all of us who try and lead them to salvation. Thanks for the vid!
