The speed dial on my box fan certainly won't have me bumbling about my apartment in confusion but it troubles me none the less.

What could be so wild and crazy about a simple box fan? Watch and see.

  • You sir, are a knob

  • That has what looks like a desk fan switch. Just like Emerson said, they must have had some crap lying around in the Chinese factory and used them for that fan.

  • I like the fan dials on the older Lakewood box fans. Where it says Off High Medium Low.

  • That is a universal knob. You can pull it off and put it on the other way and the other arrow will read.

Some newer table fans have the switch on the back of the motor that has "0 1 2 3" on the top and "3 2 1 0" at the bottom. More then likely that make used that same knob for other model fans and it was a left over for this fan.
