the hk 401 works great if you are new to helis or just into scale type flying, it dosent hold the best when pushed hard, i also had two out of six that had problems(drift,tail wag) new out of box. so get an extra one or two if you order. my gain setting with a futaba radio was at 70 and use a long servo arm ,dont go past 110% on the limit ,i found best to use a fast tail servo like a Futaba 9257 overall the HK heli and parts is really good,but hardcore 3D guys look at something else.

it works very well, i have not pushed it to hard yet. if you look at my vid (HK 500 skid walkin) it shows that it stops very well and i think the gain is at 28%
