see u got it mixed up the wiimote is the receiver and the tracking bar is just find relative position any u guys have done cool work keep it up

Just in case you guys are writing a paper on this, i want to point out a little mistake: the "receiver" doesn't receive anything and is in fact just a very simple array of infrared LEDs, so it can easily be replaced with at least two infrared sources.
The Wiimote has an CCD in the top which is seeing the IR Light and sends preprocessed data via bluetooth.
