called cops on several teens at the end of my street drinking and smoking... dont want it in my neighborhood either... Thanks to Fayetteville Cops and Cumberland County Sheriff Deputies...

@kickass5 You've got that right... LOL Not sure how many old friends I've now lost on facebook. There's a certain percentage that just don't want to know. They know about corruption, but don't care, or it's too depressing for them so they don't want to know.

@phukhed1 It's called Market Square. I live about 10 mins from it. It's smack in the middle of downtown Fayetteville.

@PsalmsNmyrrh yes, winston salem, high point, and greensboro....Either of these cities are good. They are not too rural, not too suburban and not too urban. They all seem to have a good mix of people, culture and available resources. Check it out. Fayetteville is very small, and its a G.I town. Downtown Fayetteville's center piece is an old monument from the slave times. I forget what its called, but they used to sell slaves there. That disgusted me when i lived there. Hope this helps.

@phukhed1 from nyc,bx. where is the triangle? thank you very much for the info. i just wanted to be safe and live in a remote place where it is not so congested with people.  it is real crowded here.

@PsalmsNmyrrh where are you moving from? I moved from ny and was a bit set back by the way things are ran here...I dont work in the health field but im sure there are jobs available in the industry...There is city transportation, but no subway or train system for citywide travel. There is a bus system and plenty of cab services. Im not sure about high crime but there were some dingy areas, shallow in there own kind of way. If you are looking for a good city, research the triangle and charlotte
