Chevrolet introduced two concept coupes at the 2012 North American International Auto Show aimed at inspiring next-generation buyers to take the wheel and suggest ideas for a car they can co-create. The two new concepts are the Code 130R and the Tru 140S.

  • Just badge the damn thing as a Nova. "Code 130R".....WTF?

  • BMW 1series fighter anyone, just add a four door version, and optional ATS 2.0t engine... Tests at 'the ring' bargain price and what do we have here, a WINNER!!!

  • I think they should beef it up a little bit. Less curves more boxed and more horsepower. Make it a mans car. And call it the 2013 chevelle.

  • @diver362 Yeah thanks 2 u i just read the article really hoping on the Tru 140S but this is also fine as well.

  • @diver362 - well ya, that's very evident

  • @diver362 Yeah it definitely has sports car influence, and I actually really like this car. I hope they put it into production. I am just still unsure about the Corvette "wings" on it. I think they should let it develope it's own identity as opposed to wearing the same badge as GM's flagship model. I wonder if the name of it would change too. Seems like a concept type name haha. We'll see in time!

  • @ThatBrowser The evos reminds me more of Ford's 2013 Fusion Concept than a new car.

  • @ShortstarFiero its ironic that Fiero is in your name lol

  • @GMguy91 Carried over because of RWD influence from the Corvette platform perhaps? something like that i guess. Its either that or the GM seal of excellence come production day lol

  • @h3ll0124 yeah but its Chevy's car, let Dodge solve their own issues haha

  • @BlueGryphnix I just read April's issue of motor trend and they have a section talking about the 130R and it seems more likely that the 2.0l ATS engine will be available. It shares the same platform so the 6spd and the 2.0l hook right up to the 130R's. Price for the 130R with the 2.0L is going to be about 25-28g's EST. about the same price for a V6 Camaro. Tough choice for me now lol.
