Thanks, Dave, this is a timely piece of art. Although some progress has been made (corporate bigwigs are going to jail occasionally), bad actors have flourished under their guise as individual citizens, particularly under recent pro-biz administrations. Great story, high-quality video.
This is what a truly patriotic American does....he fights with and for the truth, using the universally understood medium of music for the expression of his position on the issue. The best way to ensure our democratic republic continues on course, remaining true to our founders ideals as expressed in the Consitution is to spread the word, build a consensus, and then post our responses to the webpages of our local representatives (with a link to this video).
Corporations don't breath air, they don't get sick, they don't marry, they don't die. The are NOT persons, and the notion that they are is a complete fiction. This unfortunate decision in the late 1800s has been built upon by the latest decision which gives corporations unlimited spending power on political issues. Let's be informed about this. Spread the word. We need high-information citizens in America. Great music!
I miss the songs of the 60's, especially the folk songs addressing the grievances of the poor, and the disenfranchised - i.e. most of us without the political clout to jerk the politicians (and, apparently, the Supreme Court's) chains. Thanks for carrying on the tradition. Is the song yours? Nice job!
This is great David! Thanks for showing me this. And so great to talk to you!!!!

Very nice, I love great folk music.
The tragedy of corporate personhood is certainly a worthy topic.
