this girl is amazing, well i have CP too and was born with it also, but that doesn't stop me either. she is an inspiration to me too. I first saw her on access hollywood and was totally amazed by her. Just believe and you will acheive. Thanks for posting this!!!!!

I love this show and when I found out that Abby Curran was going to be on it I freaked out, shes a total inspiration to me because I have CP myself. Its really awesome to know that she followed her dream and it came true.

Um, if someone is over the age of 15 and doesn't know what cerebral palsy is, they probably suffer from a learning disability.

Props to this girl, I'm sure that she has had to overcome more obstacles than the great majority of people. I just hope that she didn't win because of a sympathy vote or something. I agree with Lastvampyer below.

Way to play the most cliched, lame-ass song to announce her entrance. I swear, everytime there's someone with a disability, or with a physical deformity, they play "Beautiful". How annoying.

I doubt many people catch on to this, but whether it's the girl with cancer from "House", the woman whose face was eaten by a chimpanzee, or Abbey Curran, they usually appear somewhere with "Beautiful" playing. It's absurd.

When you stop to think about this for like 5 seconds, an attractive young woman winning a beauty pageant isn't so amazing. What this woman has done is highlight society's preconceptions about disabled people AND in one of the most shallow industries there is!

My point is, maybe if people weren't so judgemental in the first place then her disability wouldn't have been (and shouldn't be) an issue.

And yes, I have Cerebral Palsy as well before you start flaming me...
