Stop-motion cross-stitch surprise

I made this for my boyfriend's birthday. It took 8 hours because I was stop-motioning it after every stitch or so. I found this pattern online and decided to do it. I don't know much about cross-stitching since the last time I did it was about 20 years ago, so next time, I'd use more thread to cover up the white parts between the Xs.

I stitched this design, using slightly brighter colors on youtube .. but I will never figure how you put music and stuff with these videos .. I'm just not that technical-minded! lol! Great job! :o)

Very clever and beautiful .. the stop-motioning mst have been a pain, but even so - this design would have taken me a good couple of days .. but the colors are beautiful. My own work was a piece with the flags of all the countries around the world that I have been to, that took me 8 years, 8 months & 16 days to complete (lol!) which I gave to my wife .. that's what you get with Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD, but it helps a lot, and again - your use of colors here is so attractive! :o)
