cont...like to be a citizen of North Korea, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Cuba, or Russia. I am a citizenI am a citizen of the United States of America. And, the rest of this speech is about the United States of America. America is a unique civilization...But the core of this is a very straightforward historic debate. Go Newt! Needs to be said. I'm sick of the one-world movement! We need to take care of our own U.S. citizens. Are we really going to take orders from the U.N.? It pisses me off that when people hate on the U.S. while reaping the freedoms that this country provides. Why don't you move to France and pay 40% in taxes to fund the welfare state that you, most likley, desire. Remember, the country that gives you everything you want also has the power to take it away.

hey newt hate to tell you, must be inhaling all that natural co2, you are a citizen of the world, if you are not GET OFF MY PLANET and take your donkeypunched followers with you, scum bags
JaredLarsen, Granted, Newt softens the firebrand sound bite, but he is too savvy not to know that that is the rhetoric which will latched onto by the radicals. Further, great Republicans as well as Democrats have used the phrase approvingly (see Andrew Sullivan's blog to trace this), and this clear violation of the logic he claims to champion, i.e., "citizen of the world" does not mean a "citizen of North Korea" etc.
