Is Dorset Naga and the Bhut Jolokia the same thing because I went on wikipedia and searched "Dorset Naga" and it automatically went to the page called Bhut Jolokia so Idk what is with that.

The Bhut Jolokia is 1,000,000 SHU so as of right now it is hotter than what the recorded rating is for the Dorset Naga.

The BBC tested a Dorset Naga for one of it's programs in 2006 and the result came back at 1.6million SHU.
unfortunately they did not submit the results to guiness world records, but then again even at 960,000 it is still the hottest chili in the world.
PS i have eaten a big fat juicy fresh red one too and swallowed, but i have developed a tolerance to capsaicin from eating too much hot food and too many chilis

it was definately tho hottest ive ever had...i think id give any chilli a go at least once........maybe... ill drop around soon and maybe grab a chilli or 2 of ya....cheers
