The Doctors Orchestral Society of New York is in its 73rd Anniversary Season. They had a Concert at Norman Thomas High School, on 111 E.33rd St. in Manhattan on Thursday Dec. 16, 2010. This video is Part 1 of the Blue Danube Waltz, composed by Johann Strauss II, in 1866. The Conductor and Music Director is Peter Bellino. The Chairman of the Board is Harvey Salomon, M.D. This is an organization that has free concerts but depends greatly on contributions.

  • I just got clued into this orchestra by the noted conductor Donald Lewsader. Donald said this was the orchestra he most enjoyed conducting. And, boy I can understand that. Wonderful. Simply wonderful.
