"Paparazzi lightning". I just made that up watching this and I have never heard the phrase so I get credit for it ;). It reminds me of what you might see when celebrities get photographed.

WOW!!! Continuous thundering!!! I have never heard anything like that before!!! I think from here on out all of humanity is going to see bigger and more powerful natural disasters.

@Genesis2Jesus I agree! The thunder sounded more powerful than any I have ever heard in my life! And I have seen and heard hundreds and hundreds of thunderstorms here in the New Orleans area over many years!

I have found that usually when you see intense non stop lightning, bright colors in the sky like red, green and blue along with strong winds a Tornado is close by! Also the thunder will rumble across the sky and it sounds like a beast! Thunder is much louder and echo's much longer near a Tornado! It actually feels like the ground shakes! The cloud tops are higher and the rain pours extremely heavy! POWERFUL! The news reported a Tornado in North Kenner where I live and video taped this!
