  • @INGRAM pt2:

I would probably not enjoy the wild places of BC as a normal camper. I go to amazing places with light gear that would last me a few weeks just by utilizing(with minimal effect) what I know works to help me survive as a minimalist in the Boreal forest.

Trust me... why would I be a normal camper? With Bushcraft all the normal camper's prizes seems nothing.

    2 thumbs up mate.

  • @ INGRAM: You seem to be watching Ray's videos but found it non-informative to your goals in your quest to be informed about camping. But it appears that you have watched quite a few of his videos to generalize him with your venomous grammatical attempts in comic.

I live in the Lower mainland too and I practice what I learn from Ray. I trekk, practice my bushcraft in wild places near the lower mainland away from normal "camping people" and I tell ya, if it wasn't for Ray's videos...

  • If I ever get made homeless the first thing I'm buying with whatever money I have left is a tent. That way I can sleep where I want so no sleeping in sub ways for me. I understand not everyone has that luxury but I have never seen a tramp with a tent. Quilt covers are the closest I've seen.

P.S this comment was made before watching the video but I will watch it and make a more appropriate comment after doing so.

  • @INGRAM0009 There is a difference between wilderness cultures who still live from subsisting as they have since time in memorial, and the industrialising third world. What Ray is talking about is the former. In many ways central critisism is the industrialising of these places and the destruction of these cultures. The rubbish in your street; is it modern waste? Plastics, metals, etc? A surprising thing about isolated cultures is the lack of waste. I think you mis the point.

  • @donnyab I'm nasty? Well let me tell you how nasty I am... my neighbourhood is full of 3rd world trash. I'm not going to keep my mouth shut and listen to an over paid camper (who really lives in a mansion in Surrey) and his fan club lecture me about how I don't understand how wonderful they are. If you think the 3rd world is so wonderful YOU GO AND LIVE THERE!!!
