I went golfin once

People in Wisconsin can have a funny way of talkin. For example, if you want someone to come over to where you are standing so that you can show them something you might say, "Hey Yvonne, come here once and take a look at this." Why do wisconies add the 'once?' And if we ask it once are we ever allowed to ask them over again?
