Seeing this incarnation of the Rentals churn out a folk-rocker like this, makes me think about them covering Kansas' "Dust in the Wind" or Styx' "Boat on the River."
-
If there is any prog-rock songs the Rentals could try covering in the near future, here is my list:
"Tom Sawyer" by Rush (1981)
"Lucky Man" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer (1970)
"Tarkus Suite" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer (1971)
"Karn Evil #9 (all three Impressions)" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer (1973)

This song might as well be about Weezer. When Matt left, he took the "brain" with him.

I could play it, and I've never even tried. If you practice enough, it will come very easy to you.

Matt+Rivers=awesome
Either of them by themselves = the cookie and cream part of an Oreo being sold separately.
