I was raised Catholic, became "born again" in highschool, and after much study and intospection became an atheist. While I still despise all man-made religion...I now consider myself a seeker. Reality itself is so...weird. That it is at all. I mean, just think about what it means to BE...it's so hard to understand what that even means...yet, here we are..being. After countless charlatans and nutty people, I finally found Adyashanti. I love how real, kind, and humble he is. The perfect messenger.
A lot of people find what they have been culturally and religiously raised up to find.. very few are able to ask questions and dare to see the nothingness.. cause the first view of nothingness is from the point of view of ego..
There is no such thing as authority. It is not real. Authority is an illusion believed to be recognised through the lens of the self. The self of course, that does not exist to begin with.
nothing to add, nothing to be, nothing to do and no one to do it. what a relief.

"It's crap...", "Most of the great authorities are also wrong..." This is how a true spiritual teacher talks... it seems to 'me'.

Love this! Somehow, however...I experience the "nothing" as pure potentiality...it is sooooooooooo full! soooooooooo pregnant!
