  • its seems like you expend more energy cleaning up after eating than you get from eating itself.

  • @xkruulx Hmm, unless the base was constructed a similar way to the top? (As in, it could be taken off, like the top) It may cost a couple more pennies to make but it'd be essential for compacting the rubbish.

  • @Emejapazco you can't take the base of a can off without a saw.

  • I would take the lid off the can, then the base off the can and then you are left with two thin discs of metal and a circular ring which can be flattened much easier and more efficiently.

  • yes BUT when u talk about space even aluminium isn't ligth enough.

a good example would be my two bikes,

    one is from aluminium 6061.

the other is carbon fiber and that is ligth so..in the quest for ligther materials why would u bring something heavy where there is a cheaper alternative, with same results in our case here the canned food

  • Aluminum is very light.

  • You're just another jerk who wants to make somebody feel bad because you feel bad, why don't you take it out on yourself, or at least bottle it up for later on your family.

  • I don't know... the skin of your hands has a much better grip than can opener handles do. In exchange for leverage you'll get a decent chance of a rousing minute of spontaneous food pong.

  • well liquid items should be brougth in plastic bags, why would u bring a metal can?

i taught weigth is an ishue, and if it's not then the safest way to crush a can is using the...can opener as a pair of pliers.

  • I agree with you only with the part of the weight
