I don't know why but I can't take these South Australia ads seriously. It's like they're made on a shoestring budget or something. ALthough. kudos for having someone actually drive the car though instead of CGIing it.

  • Another Transport SA ad made on a shoestring budget. They must pay the voiceover guy a lot

  • Computer Generated videos are fine for some things, but no place in ads like this.

  • The faster you drive, the farther you have to look - would be more appropriate.

  • I saw a Volvo V70 rear end a Chevrolet Suburban today. i think the Volvo was doing about 35 mph and the Chevy was parked, the woman was quite pissed when she cam out of the drug store! LOL

  • The math doesn't make much sense - assuming similar deceleration rates and a reaction time of 1.5 seconds, (so the car travels an additional 4.2m before slowing down) the speed of the second car will be more like 20km/h on impact.

  • Agreed, should have used the waste of materials that is an EA.

  • Stopping in 25m in the first one has the car next to the power pole. The parked car is a lot closer than 25m in the second run - as the power pole isn't even in shot.

Try not locking the wheels up, and it's a different story again.

  • Aw poor XF:(
