Punishment of the Grave

This is the result of a muslim who did not do the duties he was obligated to do, such things as the Salah (prayer), obeying Allah, obeying the parents, paying zakat (charity). As a result he was punished in the grave but it does not end there read the hadith below.

Hanee says that Uthman ibn Affaan was asked, ' Ya Uthman, whenever Paradise and Hell were described to you we never saw any sign of you being affected by that or being touched by that. But whenever the grave is mentioned, you will start crying. Why is this?' Uthman replied, ' The grave is the first stage of the Akhira, it is the third state of the second life so if it is easy, then what comes after it will be easier. But if it is difficult, then what is coming will be worse. So it is the critical point!.
