This call is completely fake and set up by Bubba. Spike TV wouldn't be mad about Bubba getting fired. Cross- promoting on Bubba's show would be completely ineffective because he doesn't have that big of an audience. Simple as that.
Bubba is just a failed radio guy that gets fired from every place he works. That's why he now has to have his show on the internet.
