I use 36 mimimum on my layout. I know what that looks like. Some of those 80' cars lok terrible on the curves. Most of the time I try to video on the straighter section. If I'm in the area I'd like to run my Norfolk SOuthern coal drag on your layout. See my videos.

Many folks do not realize this magnificent Model RR is strongly based on an existing, historic section of what is now CSX mainline from Cravens Yard (Chattanooga) to just near Bridgeport, Alabama. In some places it is astonishingly accurate, especially at Lookout Mountain, and the now abandoned bridge at Bridgeport. Kudos to the modelers who pulled this off! The Vids are nice, too. What is the minimum radius? It seem rather tight in the videos.

They look tight but we have one curve that is 24'' the rest are 30 to 42'' Radius.
