anyone who believes that nothing went bang and life came from non living meterials is in denial and is willing to do anything to get God out of the picture. the fact is building=builder, painting=painter, and creation demands a creator. 1) There was no need or reason for him to 'become an expert on the fossil record'.
2) Ignoring the evidence doesn't make it disappear.
