I'm comparing his personal record of 19.67 with MJ's 19.32. And that'd actually be 3.5m.
Watch MJ's record run, Fredericks ran 19.68 there, and Bolt's PB so far is 19.67.
So you see how much improvement Bolt needs.
He's improvement in speed over a 100m has been huge, but he can't use that speed on the bend anyway. He can only run the bend in 10.0 as to not fall out of the lane. So, it's a matter of endurance for the second 100-200m.
And he's nowhere near Mike's endurance.
