George Galloway has a lively conversation with a caller who has visited Cuba for 2 weeks and has met a handful of people who basically dislike their own country and of the leader.

Galloway replies to this claim by pointing out the many strengths in which Cuba has including free education for every child, not a single child has to go to work instead of school, the nation's free healthcare and the nation's low infant mortality rate as well as the country's higher life expectancy rate.

The caller then talks about China being a capitalist country (thriving and prosperous), in which Galloway disputes this because the communist government has a massive role in determining the country's economic policies i.e. it is a planned economy. What a fine way to try and derail the main arguments in which Galloway is putting forward. Just mention another country.

  • If it weren't for Castro's revolution Cuba would look like Haiti, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, el Salvador, Nicaragua etc. stuffed with cocaine, heroin, full of guns from the US, the population wage-slaves to the corporations, with life expectancy in the 50s. Castro is a hero, and with good reason.

  • Galloway is right about cuba, another thing as well- there are almost no drugs. I went there on holiday and i tried to get weed, prob asked thirty people if they knew where you could get some and most of them said they had never seen weed EVER and they were proud of it too. I wasnt too happy, would of great to of had a splif on the beach!

  • @kramnodd9 Well the people I asked didnt use the word weed they used the word drugs, I should of said that. My friend is a bit of a druggie so if there was any opium he would of found it! We went into the rough parts of town at night and there was no drug use, just lots of rum and cigars im afraid!

  • My Mother visited Cuba... funnily enough, she says the exact same thing as this caller. EVERYONE she spoke to was less than happy with the situation there.

Fuck Galloway, he's just a Communist with a biased agenda

  • @PHILIBOYLONDON

There's no weed, because there's an abundance of opium. A LOT of people smoke opium in Cuba - in fact, it's famous for it.

  • @falonso1234

25% of the homeless in the U.S.A. are military veterans. Seen Detroit lately? Tried living on a 30 hour per week WalMart wage? College graduates are drowning in student debt (Cuban education is free) Do American families have difficulty paying for health care? Why are people living under bridges?

The U.S. Census Bureau says There are 314 counties in the United States where at least 30% of the children are facing food insecurity.

Clean up your own mess before criticizing others.

  • @falonso1234 ..Lol, you are the biggest prick with fingers to type..its a common fact that cubans live longer than americans and the british, their hospitals are better than ours..and their women are more loyal and beautiful than most, if not all, than western women..now put that in your ass and consume it.

  • Galloway is a prick who knows nothing about Cuba. He is a sycophant who would do or say anything to bask in the company of Fidel Castro.

99% of Cubans are living in utter misery and poverty. Most suffer from bad nutrition from the ridiculous ration books forced upon them. Many many Cuban families in Havana live off the earnings of the daughters that pimp themselves along the Malecon or in the casas particulares filled with sex tourists.

Galloway, you are a fake and a shill.
