How to add a Photo Gallery to WordPress 3.1.2

This tutorial will show you how to create a nice looking photo gallery in your WordPress website. We are using the FancyBox image plugin to display our photos. You can download FancyBox from the WordPress.org Plugins site.

Thank you very much. This was actually very helpfull to me. But is there any way to have albums on one page? Where each album would take you to a set of pictures?

@korolyeck As far as I know there is no way to create separate galleries on one page. I used the Fancybox plugin to create the popup images from the thumbnails. By default, WordPress lets you create a gallery per page, or just insert photos one at a time. I think Floatbox allows you to create a separate set of images by using "rel" syntax in the image link. Google "floatbox" for more info! :o)

@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa89227 - In the HTML view you can add a CSS class to each image, or set your thumbnails to a smaller size in the WP Settings under Media. Or change the number of columns on your gallery. Always more than one way to skin a cat ... :o)
