one major problem with this- the bible clearly teaches election and not a according to foreknowledge of anything good in us. " it is NOT of him who WILLS or of him who runs but of God who shows mercy"

Christ says " you did not choose me but i chose you".

Calvinism does not cancel out human responsibilty the bible teaches us both Divine sovereignty and human responsibility and actually the vast majority of the most active evangelists that ever lived have been calvinists(:

I'll make a comparison between Calvanism and Conservatism. Someone once said; "If you're not liberal when you're young, you have no heart. If you're not conservative when you're older, you have no brain." It's the same as being a Christian. When you are a young Christian, you are very immature in doctrine. As you grow, you learn more about the Bible and Christ and realize that you are very insignificant and Christ is EVERYTHING! Now, there, it's all clear now!

how can calvinists think they are special when the first point of calvinism is mans total depravity. the rest follows from there. all biblical. thease arguments have no scripture to back them. just alot of arminian goosebumpy kneejerky arguments.
