have heard him twice now in manchester, england. what a man. the music is hypnotic. although this song called wedding i used it for my cousin's funeral procession. it has dignitas and an underlying joy.

I picked up this album in a bargain bin in 1985, put on my turntable and my world changed. One of the most sublime musical performances I've ever had the pleasure to hear, It was part of my wife and my wedding ceremony , I've used it in musical therapy. It never fails to reach people on an extremely personal level. Abdullah Ibrahim is a treasure, thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for your feedback! It was 1982. Tübingen Festival. Open air. Medieval market place. A warm summer night. Abdullah Ibrahim and Band. It was magic. I'll never forget this night. This music. A magic night.
