Jerri Manthey talks about Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains

Having played twice before, Jerri Manthey was a seasoned Survivor contestant. This season on Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains, Jerri was able to crack the final four. Immediately after the live finale in New York City, Jerri talked with RealityTVMagazine's Ryan Haidet about her strategy, what it's like living with Russell and why she is so proud of her game this time around.

i think Jerri played a good game, plus she really shined as a person. Really like her.

Russell takes Survivor being a "game" too literally. You don't NEED to have some aggressive strategy and outfox every single person there. All you need to do is survive till the end and get the votes. i think Jerri really had a grasp on the most effective way to play Survivor her 3rd time.

@CreepyFinnishGuy Russell's game wouldn't work without idols, but that's why he plays that way, because Idols are apart of the game. Saying he wouldn't be good without Idols, Is like saying Tiger Woods wouldn't be a good golfer without a golf ball, It doesn't make sense. If Idols was to be taken away, he wouldn't play like he does, his game is designed to throw fuel on the fire, and be able to use a shield to protect yourself while everybody burns to the ground around him.

@IceYourPimpHand True but had Russell played the game in the first seasons, like she did, he wouldn't have lasted for long because there were no hidden immunity idols. People keep forgetting that the only reason why Russell was so good was because of the HII. Without them in pre-all-stars-seasons he would have made it to the merge but then he would have been the 2nd jury member just like every too aggressive player in pre-all-stars seasons (like Jerri...)

LOL, everything Russell said, she did, no matter what. "Russell's a newbie" Jerri is so pathetic, Russell did something in 1 season that Jerri has never been able to do.

Jerri is probably one of my all-time favorite survivors. She went from being hated by everyone (including me) to being loved. Biggest turnaround I can think of.

Todd and Russell and Amanda played really similar... but Todd was likeable and explain his strategy and was humble... nobody wanted to give russell a million dollar beacuse he was soooooooooooooooooooo cocky
