1909 Samson 8hp. Built by the Samson Iron Works. I made a small gas tank setup for it and I've been playing around with the engine trying to get it to run slow on Gasoline.

I didn't have a rod oiler for the engine so a friend who collects Samson engines sent me a photo of the oiler setup on one of his engines. I was able to make the part that goes on the lower end of the oiler on the crank fender but still need to find the wiper that goes on the rod. I made one for it but I will keep a eye out for the proper one for it.

I put a water tank on it but will probably change it when I get the engine mounted on a skid or a set of trucks. I wanted a muffler for it but ended up making one for now. I don't like the chome look to much. I'll have to keep a eye out for a muffler with a 2 1/2 inlet.
