Vida Bella Ensembles Broadcast Interview on Harv Roman's Club Kids Radio - May 17th, 2009

CHICAGO, IL Host Harv Roman welcomed members of the cast of The Brown Girls Chronicles for a live in-studio broadcast interview Sunday, May 17th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Chicago's 1450 AM WCEV Radio.

The Vida Bella Ensemble cast members Yolanda Nieves, Sandra Posadas, Diane Martinez-Cruz, Anabel Duarte, Marisel Melendez and Norma were interviewed on Chicagos 1450 AM WCEVs Kids Club Radio and spoke about about the upcoming return of the stage production in May 2009 of The Brown Girls Chronicles: Puerto Rican Women and Resilience. The Brown Girls' Chronicles are the stories of second generation Chicago Puerto Rican women who in their day-to-day lives are the embodiment of struggle for independence of mind, soul, heart and body.

The troupe also talked about their impact on youth, community groups, public response to their stage shows and their effect on women of all races. The show ended with the ladies talking about their upcoming trip to New York, a live performance piece and a phone conversation with a caller.
