Jesus is the narrow gate (John 10:1-18). The only entrance into Heaven is through Jesus. By dying on the cross as a substitute for sinners, Jesus provided the only way for those who repent to be forgiven for their sins and receive the gift of eternal life. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23

"Typical of MacArthur - confusing.
He stresses ENTERING....a physical action. He talks about a gate - something literal,..but he never explains what entering really is. He says what it is not (admiring, respecting, the gate, etc) but does not come out and say how you know you have entered or if you can be thrown out once you have entered as other NT parables indicate you can.
The entering seems to be strictly faith in Christ....Believe what he says on being saved or DOING what he says?"

@ RCRebound This video is only excerpts from John MacArthur's sermon, and not the entire message that he gave. If it is confusing or does not go into detail enough then that is my fault for the way I edited it.
