@ayogetatme Umm...Brandy was VERY popular in the 90s, and she'sstill very much appreciated today...she was loved in the same manner as Aaliyah was...Just like aaliyah inspired girls to wear their hair over one eye like she did, Brandy inspired girls to wear all kinds of braided hair styles...that was her signature...I'm not tryin to spark debate, but to say Brandy wasn't a trendsetter is ridiculous.

@MistyCallsKingdra1 Some ppl don't acknowledge that, but u r completely right. She has also sold over 50 million records worldwide and won over a HUNDRED awards as a recording artist. Not everybody can say they have done this. She also had an extremely successful sitcom and a few movies, a Brandy doll, and let's not forget how Brandy actually sung about things that were appropriate for girls her age. If u don't know u better ask around, this woman has made some classics.

@MistyCallsKingdra1 I agree with everything you said. brandy was one of the reasons I wore braids. I thought everything she did was so cool I wanted to dress like her sing like her and dance like her. some people are just haters and it's sad.

@imanipatricia I never thought that this was a debate in the first place. I just love and enjoy Brandy from 1994-Present. Aaliyah never really got my attention the way that Brandy did. The only song that I really like by Aaliyah was The One I gave my heart to.

@MiriamAmaral15 Ok why are you bringing up Aaliyah? That is very concerning. Aaliyah is not relevant nor was there any rivalry with Brandy. They were friends when she was alive. Talk about coming from left field. That was an out of the blue comment. If you don't like Brandy then don't watch her videos because honestly that was an unncessary comment.
