When Kobe matches Michael's 11 MVP's(6 Finals...5 Regular) then you can consider Kobe on MJ's level...Until then Kobe is arguably the best player this past decade with Duncan and possibly a top 10 player ever but is not on MJ's level.

its funny he says he grew up watching dr j elgin baylor etc but when he was interviewed in his eralier years he says he didnt have cable tv in north carolina .and that the only person he grew up watching was john thompson and north carolina guys
