my dog doesn't have all her teeth yet, but she lost one yesterday so once her teeth grow in were gonna start brushing

Actually...you cant do any damage with a q-tip. Their ear cannals are shapped like an "L", they're not like a human ear cannal. That is wat my vet taught me when my puppy had an ear infection and I had to clean the ears regularly. So no worries! :)
