@TaAl1990 the majority of the public (more specifically the American public) are too stupid to understand films like Martha Marcy May Marlene. They prefer to watch movies (action, rom coms, chick flicks ect.). It is sad that films like these are not fully appreciated. There is a difference between movies and books vs films and novels. Not many people are educated enough to enjoy the latter.

@clarepies I got the cult thing, but the film was really unsatisfactory. I didn't expect it to be conclusive or anything, it just had much more to give...and didn't.

@TaAl1990 i didnt really get the whole cult thing, they all have sex with eachother, and he gets to rape the women, (leader guy) and its meant to be cleansing them or something? what was all that about?

the fact that most people who said the film was shit put these 'XD' faces in their comments says that they were probably too brainless to watch the film in the first place... story was good, cinematography was awesome, acting was brilliant. also well done to Sean Durkin on on writing and directing his first ever film. if you've not seen it, I'd say deff give the film a chance!
