HRes1540 was discussed on the House floor 12-7-2010, and Rep. Jared Polis spoke against the legislation that would further escalate the failed war on marijuana. This is the first time in history that we know of where a member of Congress explicitly called for regulating and taxing marijuana from the well of the House floor.
