  • @1971cinnamon Preheat to 350 degrees You need 4 cups of peeled, sliced peaches, 2 cups of sugar (1 cup for the batter, the other cup for the peaches) 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour, 1 1/2 cups of milk.. Hope that helped! I got it straight off the Food Network site. So it's Paula's recipe..

  • This looks like a great recipe but there is a few questions.. oven temp? how much milk, flour and sugar for the crust?

  • @BIGBANKSBOY I mean one and a half :)

  • @SenhoritaIsabel WHEN U SAY 1 1/2 CUPS DO U MEAN ONE AN A HALF OR JUST ONE HALF

  • this is why i love Paula Deen

  • My recipe is just about the same as this and i make it every summer. I make a ton in a couple big foil pans for desert at a cookout and EVERYBODY loves it. I miss being in georgia using the fresh peaches at the peak of the season. Canned peaches just dont do it for me but in the winter i use frozen.

  • Ohhh Paula, its so easy to make our own self-rising flour...its all over the Net. per cup of reg flour add a teaspoon of corn starch and a pinch of salt. Why buy a whole bag of self rising flour for one recipe?

  • I made this yesterday - To Perfection!

  • "By all means pull out your whip"...LOL Paula Deen rocks!!!

  • I started salivating while watching this - can hardly wait to make it this weekend !!!

  • I'm from Alabama and my grandmother made this almost the exact same way. Now that I live in California, I get to make it for my gf's sister who's doing a report on Alabama and needs to make a recipe from the south to share with the school. :) Thanks for the video and recipe!

  • Love your channel! You look amazing! What you do is really fantastic! Let's stay in touch. Check me out sometimes too!

  • @SenhoritaIsabel Thanks for clearing that up!

  • can it be fat free milk?

  • Love love love Paula. . .

  • @bz6phh We would sometimes use black berries. Tastes great as long as you don't mind the seeds.

  • My grandmother used to make peach cobble just like this.

Does anyone know if any other type of fruit will work in this cobbler?

  • Tonight I am making this for the second time .... I use canned peaches instead of fresh and OMG my peach cobbler is so yummy the pan is gone in a day in my home! Great recipe thanks paula!

  • haha when she said Pull out your whip and go to town. I thought of Indiana Jones hitting the mixture with his whip.
