  • Sounds like your Honda needs the clutch bled and I would also inspect the slaveaster cylinder

  • I have a 93 ranger 5spd. The clutch has been engaging later - I've only noticed the past couple of weeks. Where it used to engage mid travel, it now engages almost topped out. I only have about 3 inches of travel before it disengages - out of about 10 inches total travel. I also have almost no freeplay. What could cause this? I drive in city conditions everyday - usually short trips because I'm a delivery driver. I try not to ride the clutch or slip it. I just had the clutch replaced about 6 mo

  • @jhonea005 I would first check the master for any leaks or moisture then do a bleed on the system. Those fords have the internal slave I believe. ( my bronco had one too) watch out because if they leak that clutch will be toast really quick so see if you able to keep good pressure after a bleed. That fluid will eat the disk quickly if the slave is dripping.

  • Brain I have a 93 Honda Accord LX with clutch issues. When i shift it grinds into second and third, and driving home to park it i notice on the freeway as i was shifting i was not picking up speed but slowing down when i press the gas the RPM will race. After parking the car and went to move it this morning into the garage putting it into first gear the car want move at all now. All my fluids are intact and im not leaking any thing do i need to replace my whole clutch system now ?

  • @javier7432 sounds like a bad clutch. Could always be trans issues but I would pull the trans and take a good look at the clutch. Sounds like the it's worn out.

  • Sounds like you might have a bad throw our bearing

  • My '05 Hyundai elantra is having a spongy clutch and was diagnosed as a leaking slave cylinder

  • hi on my 92 ford ranger i just got dont running it had to go somewhere 10 min later and clutch wont let the ignition work but i can still drive it and start it from the silinoid with a screw driver but i think it might be that switch thing on my pedal rod but any reply welcome just sick of starting in the street with a screwdriver :)

  • I have a 2000 saab-93 and i have to pump the clutch 3 or 4 times to shift it in the next gear and sometimes it makes a loud sound when trying to put it in to gear. I have had the master and slave cylinder replaced and the clutch and pressure plate as well.

  • @autohowtovideos I'm not even sure if i'm replying to this correctly, but anyways I have a 93 honda accord and I went to start it this morning and my clutch was all the way to the ground. It will pop up but when i push it in it just gets stuck in the ground again and it wont shift either. I had a problem with shifting it a few weeks ago and put break fluid and it worked for a while

  • hey quick question, i have an 86 rx7 , after the tranny starts heatin up cuz of city drivin nd the clutch etc gets hot from stop nd go, the clutch pedal wont disengage the clutch, i have to pump the clutch nd sumtimes even shut the car off jus to put it in gear or take it out of gear (sux really bad wen parking!), there's no leaks nd the hydraulic system was fully replaced nd still acts up :/ now im think its pressure plate failure cuz if i hold the clutch too long the car wit take off or stall

  • i have a 97 cavalier. The clutch, when I press it down it will stick to the floor. it has no pressure. Also, when I push it down it wont go into gear. IS that a master/slave cylinder problem? or should I replace the whole clutch? thanks!

  • thank you guys so much for this video =)
