Plantronics headset is slighter better. Mic on this to sensitive, Wind Iso isnt that great..

you mentioned new zealand so i thought id say something ...iv had a z9i for a couple of months and found it really good ...i believe the usb cable is for recharge and for updateing software via blueants website
