Ray Guy = Football player.
He could kick, tackle and throw a football.
If the HOF is to be taken seriously then Ray Guy needs to be in there. Not to mention the Snake......

Guy was athletic as any player of that time. He was DB in college and actually had about 8 INTs in college. Good arm as well.

they should let whoever scouts the raiders punters to scout every position!

in 1979 I saw Guy win a game for the raiders in Denver a defensive battle Oak won 14-10.Orange crush got tough in 2nd half and particular the 4th QTR and was giving oakland 3 & outs deep in Oak territory and Guy kept hitting punts of 60 + yards w hang time and denver would never get good field position no matter what. Had to go the length of the field. He should be in the HOF. He proved what a weapon a punter can be.

ray guy is hall of fame to me...i don't care what is voted on,he is the best that ever played his position..and more,i remember him holding for field goals,even being an emegency QB at one time,and making tackles on returns...nobody returned a ray guy punt for a TD

i'm not a raiders fan either but ray guy sure deserves to be in the pro football hall of fame. he was unique and maybe the the best ever at his position.
